There are only two imperative facets to an effective content strategy.
1. Keep feeding the content machine

Because if you don’t, you’ll never be found.
2. Make sure your content is compelling enough to be shareable
There are only three things that make content viral:
- It’s touching
- It’s funny
- It’s interesting
And if its not touching, funny or interesting enough, its a waste of your time and resources.
Most agencies will not tell you this. They will sell you on the idea of “let’s make you a viral video!” The truth is, it’s not viral unless the audience makes it viral. And the only way to tap the viral lode is to be REALLY funny or REALLY touching.
